| Acolytes Go Back
The Acolyte ministry is a youth activity practiced in
most churches; however, St. Paul's was one of the
first parishes in our diocese to have youth serve as
acolytes. Being an acolyte allows our young people to
serve their Lord at his altar, assist the clergy, and
learn about the church service simultaneously. Open
to all youth who are in sixth grade through twelfth
grade, members are assigned dates on which they
serve.
Acolytes serve at the Sunday services, Festival occasions, and
other special services. Occasionally acolytes serve
at weddings and funerals. Enlisting as an acolyte is
an excellent way to serve our church and our Lord.
Contact Father Weller at (517) 482-9454 if you are
interested in becoming an acolyte.
